My first design entitled "The Notebook Meets Katy Perry". I titled it this because of the outfit (obviously)! I tried to create something from the era of the Notebook, the Nicholas Spark's novel/movie, which is similar in aspects to Katy Perry's outfit in the flashbacks of her music video "Thinking of You". In the ensemble, I gave her a crop top with the signature neckline of the time period, music note pattern: a personal addition. Then high-waisted red shorts with the same neckline feature as the top and black buttons. For shoes, it's cut off a bit, I gave her self-designed oxford heels in black and white. Accessories consist of a polaroid camera, maybe not from the time period, but something I thought looked nice and added to the whole feel of the outfit. Continuing, a charm bracelet for small town feel, as focused on in The Notebook. Also, a gold compass necklace. I actually own that piece and I thought it added to the creativity of the ensemble. Add a pair of red heart sunglasses and a red head tie, and the the outfit is styled as ever! Red lipstick, white pale eye shadow, winged liquid eyeliner, and black mascara. Pearl earrings, a must-have for every ensemble. I also gave the model a beehive hairstyle, something from an entirely different era, but I liked how it kind of pulled the whole outfit together.
